Shoe Envy!

I had a half an hour to kill yesterday so I headed straight to the 8.5 women's shoe section at Nordstrom Rack. I fell in love with this Sam Edelman 'Ferran' heel. Its a sort of take on the strappy gladiator style, with a really comfortable sole inside. Not to mention a chunky wooden heel that I love. I decided to skip it since it was $70 but now I cant find it under $100 online. AHH! I need this shoe!

Sandals

Since Gottschalks is going out of business I decided to give it a browse the other day. I was pleasantly surprised to have found these Dirty Laundry sandals. They are regularly $49 and with tax and everything I paid under $20 and I have to say, the shoe itself is so damn comfy. Its really padded, not like some which are so flat and rough and you cant walk on very long. So all in all, it was a good trip!

Life

Sometimes life just gets in the way of blogging! Between picking up a friend at LAX  last week, work, my car battery dying and my poor kitty having to be rushed to the hospital and taken care of after, blogging has just gone to the bottom of the list! I Promise I will be back with a vengeance in the next few days. I just need to get life back down to a steady pace!

Mad about Tie Dye

Fab Finds

If you have seen me in the past month you will know that I have become *obsessed* with these sweaters from Forever 21. They cost $15.50, they are made of the most super soft rayon/nylon blend, just the right amount of stretch and comes in 5 different colors. Honestly, for the price you cannot go wrong and so far mine have held up wonderfully through normal wash & wear.

A touch of sun

This outfit that Old Navy put together is so summery and cheery and something I don't know if i could wear but I just see it and it screams summer fun. They have really great basics right now for $5, $10 and $15. At that price you can get all your basics in bright colors and spruce up your summer wardrobe.

RECENT ACQUISITIONS

I went to Forever 21 specifically to find these striped racer-back flowing tops and lucked out getting both colors (also came in lavender, white and yellow) at only $5.50 each. What a steal. I love their 'fabulous finds', I seem to get really good deals and pretty nicely made basics.


I also saw this hilarious shirt that you can find on the website. I LOVE wearing scarves but if you don't, you can pretend! Happy Saturday!

Hair Goodies

Snooping around 80's Purple I came across these unbelievable hair accessories from Laura Kranitz. I am all about feathers and headbands right now and these just seal the deal. I like the neutral colors with a very edgy, modern flare to it. These are just some of my faves. At $50 a pop, head on over to 80's Purple and treat yourself!

These make my feet happy

There are so many good things to say about Seychelles I don't even know where to start! Anytime I am out looking for shoes I am always drawn to their quirky heels and soft leather boots. To me, a wooden heel and a just not quite grey, not quite beige shoe do the trick for making any mundane outfit pop! Their shoes are not only comfortable but really innovative at a reasonable price. Just look at the detail on the teal ones? I must go shopping now..

SEATON SURF

Seaton is one of my go to's when I think summer. There is something so charming about that little seahorse. Anyways, check them out, spend $300 and get a free beach towel (and those things are huge and luxurious).

Summer Must

Havaianas are my serious summer staple and so comfortable. I know they have different styles and colors but I am a stickler for the basic, solid color. And I have they in every color under the sun. at under $20 and most stores (Gap, Urban Outfitters, Piper Lime) selling them and usually on special they are too good not to pass up. Not to mention I have had the same pair going on 3 years and still hold up fabulously.

I also have been trying, for a looonnng time, to get a sort of database of my closet and all it has to offer.
